God Bless Dr. Friedman. He was a wonderful man, an intellectual giant, and perhaps the foremost defender of liberty in the 20th century.

I think what bugs me most about those like Klein is not that they're so wrong about human nature (although it is irritating), nor even their obdurate unwillingness to learn from the facts of history, so much as their unshakable belief that they are part of a natural aristocracy that will be on top of even a 'classless society'. I'd like to see her sent out to work with 'the peasants' for 2-3 years and see how she likes a less privileged life. (How did that turn out for Mao?)
