Microsoft and Sony
I wonder about the proposed merger of Microsoft and Yahoo. It seems to me that, at best, Microsoft would be overpaying. Here's an article that argues that Microsoft should instead merge with Sony.

The article seems to presume that Microsoft wants to make a profit as opposed to merely eliminating a competitor. Any evidence that the author is correct?
