Truly astounding and amazing. This is a perfect example of the triumph of advertising and fad over substance.
Vodka is odorless, colorless, and tasteless. Which is why it makes such a good mixture. While you MIGHT be able to taste the difference between a cheap rot gut vodka and a better one because of impurities, you will not be able to identify vodkas in a blind taste test. So there is no real reason to pay a lot for vodka or be true to a brand.
What is amazing is you tell people this and they swear up and down that they can tell the difference in their favorite!
People are such sheep.
