Your humble proprietor was privileged to read this weekend about one of the truly outstanding college committee decisions, ever. For sheer wastefulness and the utterly mindless honoring of form above substance, the Arts and Science Curriculum Committee at Duke University deserves boundless honor.

We at the Door salute this masterpiece.

(And the Economics Department deserves praise--seriously, now--for its elegant and emphatic response to the Committee's dopiness.)
